Hi there! I’m Anas, an electrical and computer engineering student at the University of Calgary with a passion for semiconductor design and hardware and embedded systems. When I’m not diving into engineering projects, I love spending quality time with my family and staying active through sports, especially soccer. I’m always eager to connect with others in the engineering community, share knowledge, and learn from others’ experiences. Feel free to reach out—I’d love to chat!
- Streamlined electrical connections on the rover’s arm, allowing for easy disconnection for testing purposes - Migrated existing firmware toward STM32 architecture for future space rover applications - Collaborated with a team to improve drive motors for the rover this season, resulting in the increase of torque by about 500%, better shaft design, and the implementation brushless features - Transferred electrical components to the new chassis, increasing organization of the enclosure
- Taught children math and reading skills one-on-one to help complete their worksheets - Worked closely with children and staff to meet the learning goals of students - Marked student worksheets and tracked their learning progress and skill development
