• Responsible for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets in line with IAS 16. • Generate monthly reports related to assets capitalization process by working on any "CIP". • Supervising the cycle of assets tagging and labelling, and the closing of Fixed Assets module closing by examining the calculation of depreciation expense, checking the fixed assets capitalization process and transferring and disposal transactions. • Track the completion of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed. • Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger "registered transactions, cost adjustments, disposals, depreciation" to the summary-level account in the general ledger. • Preparing monthly inventory closing reports in line with IAS 2 "provision for obsolete inventory, COGS breakdown, aging analysis, reconciliation of inventory movement with GL balance". • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts of FA. • Gathering financial information, prepare documents and close books on monthly basis. • Reviewing business operations and obligations to help organization function at acceptable level. • Handling day-to-day accounting processes to drive financial accuracy. • Using Oracle FA, Excel to prepare documents, reports, analysis. • Monitoring company inventory to keep stock levels and databases updated. • Preparing audit schedules relating to FA, and assist the auditors in their inquiries. • Conduct analyses related to FA as requested by management. • Supporting in daily inventory transactions and handling related cases.
Support to cover some tasks at AR team which were the following: - Doing the daily closing of each shop checking receivable's report - Receipts report of each actual and virtual shops matching their deposits amount with total transactions - Arranging with the tresuery team regarding all their related cases and transactions - Preparing the monthly aging and reconciliation reports - Providing management with needed analysis and escalating any related issue regarding deposits, shortages and system issues
