I am an experienced investment professional in the agrifood sector across its entire value chain. I am passionate about the ability to drive sustainable change and impact through investments in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Agri-food industry is of particular interest to me given the importance of the sector in sustaining life and livelihood all around the world and the fact that it is facing enormous challenges both as a contributor and victim of climate change. Between the companies I have analyzed and invested in, I have covered areas as diverse as sustainable aquaculture, novel flavour and food ingredients, crop genetics, microalgae biotechnology, natural ingredients, vegan and organic products, healthy protein, microbes-based crop stimulation and protection, agri-food analysis and testing, organic farming, animal feed, proximity supply chain solutions and packaged food. I have a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and, since 2017, am also a CFA charterholder.
