Currently working as an associate professor in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department. My research work is in the area of heat treatment of SG Iron. The current research is focused on the effect of addition of Manganese to the Austempered Ductile Iron. Machinability of Manganese dissolved austempered ductile iron is being assessed. The current research also focuses on the effect of two step austempering process on the machinability. Earlier I had worked on the powder metallurgy fields. TiC was reinforced to austenitic stainless steel matrix. TiC content was optimized in the sintered stainless steel composites based upon the corrosion and wear properties. .
