This included onboarding new products for search visibility, developing new search experiences for vague searches (e.g., 'free games'), and launching ad-based search promotions, among other search-related initiatives. β¦ Led various product page enhancements, including the development of a wish list feature that allowed users to save items for later and receive notifications when those items went on sale, generating $20M in annual revenue. β¦ Built out Campsite (an end to end proprietary Content Management System) for the Xbox app giving merchandisers the ability to program and manage the content that appears on the landing page experience of the new app.

As an intern, my goal was to increase the number of engaged MSN now customers. MSN now was a website that aggregated trending content from social media sources (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) into one destination. β¦ Led the execution of 2 web modules which targeted customers who were logged into their Facebook and Twitter accounts by tracking their browser cookies. The module prompted those customers to follow MSN Now on Facebook and/or Twitter. The number of Facebook and Twitter followers increased by 5% (combined). β¦ Partnered with design and engineering teams who were located in separate countries (India + China) to deliver project on schedule. β¦ Managed incoming bugs and reviewed customer feedback shortly after feature launched.
As an exclusive on-campus student representative for Microsoft, I hosted coding events that promoted the following products: Imagine Cup, Office, Microsoft Tech Student, Xbox and Kinect, Dreamspark, and Windows Phone 7.5. β¦ Managed and lead a team of 5 Microsoft Student Partners across the South West Coast to meet or exceed program goals in concurrent Microsoft campaigns. β¦ Organized monthly conference calls with program managers and my team to ensure project metrics are satisfactorily met, and further assisted in planning and multiple program trainings for 100+ Student Partners across the US. β¦ Drove more than 100 Windows 8 apps to the marketplace. As an avid space nerd, my co-op experience at NASA was magical. I was a product manager for a conference room software that I helped pioneer. From writing the code to pitching my product to NASA executives...I was known as the VADER intern. β¦ Designed, implemented, a digital user friendly conference room system that provides easy access to images, videos, documents, IPTV, A/V source control, WiDi, Air Play, and is controllable via web. β¦ VADER (Video Audio Digital Enterprise Resource) was incorporated in 10 different conference rooms across the campus including the Mission Control Center Mobile Command Post.
