Operations & Strategy Leader | Chief of Staff / BizOps | Building the operating & GTM engine for high-growth SaaS

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

About

I've spent 15 years across global technology, professional services and now SaaS. Building teams from scratch, integrating businesses across continents, and walking into things that weren't working to turn them around. Different industries, different countries, different problems, but always the same energy. Roll up my sleeves, get close to the people, understand what's really going on, and build the path forward together. Then I drive it persistently until it's done. Most of that work has been beside the people running the company: CFOs, COOs and consulting partners. At SoftwareOne I owned global operations for a 500+ person SAP Services business across 15+ countries, bringing multiple acquired companies into one operating model. At Deloitte and PwC I built national delivery functions from the ground up, working hand in hand with senior partners and the CFO. Right now I'm at Tailor Tech, growing our team and building the APAC GTM strategy as we move into the SEA and Australian markets. Early stage, ambiguous, no playbook... my kind of challenge. Where I'm headed: the seat next to leadership that makes the whole thing run, in tech SaaS and professional services. Chief of Staff, Head of Operations, Business Operations and Strategy, increasingly building the commercial and GTM engine alongside the operating one. Brazilian/Australian, Melbourne-based, relentlessly hands-on.

  • GTM & Operations Lead (APAC & USA) at Tailor
    Jan 2026 - Present · 7 mos

Tailor is a YC-backed startup redefining ERP through a headless, composable architecture, empowering growing companies to build systems that adapt to their business, not the other way around. I work alongside the founders and tech leaders to build Tailor's go-to-market and operating foundations across APAC from scratch. Early stage, ambiguous, no playbook. What I'm building: - Built the APAC go-to-market strategy from the ground up, including the market-entry proposal presented to the CEO. - Shaped our Ideal Customer Profiles and value propositions through workshops with engineering leadership, translating product capability into commercial positioning. - Doubled the team from 10 to 20 with zero attrition in the USA & AU, owning the full hiring cycle from headhunting to offer and selling the vision to senior technical talent. - Built AI-augmented workflows using the Claude API and ChatGPT, lifting the speed and quality of how the team works.

  • SoftwareOne (3 yrs 1 mo)
    • Global SAP Operations Director - SAP Services - Software & Cloud Services
      2022 - 2025 · 3 yrs

SoftwareOne had grown through the acquisition of multiple SAP services businesses globally. My job was to bring them together into one coherent operation. I owned global operations for SAP Services across 15+ countries and 500+ consultants, working across one of the most complex delivery models I've encountered balancing local teams, global delivery centres, acquired businesses, and a commercial engine that needed all of it to work in sync. Owned service alignment across local and delivery-centre teams, and the commercial economics that drove profitability, partnering across SoftwareOne's global functions to lift performance across SAP Services. - Contributed to 20% YoY revenue growth through commercial partnering with sales on complex deals. - Improved chargeability by ~20% and project margins by ~15% through workforce and delivery discipline. - Led integration of acquired teams across regions aligning systems, processes, financial models and ways of working into a unified global operation. - Built the operational bridge between local markets and global delivery centres, improving visibility, accountability and execution across the network

  • Deloitte Australia (4 yrs 4 mos)
    • Senior Manager - National Resource Management - Deloitte Tax & Legal
      2019 - 2022 · 3 yrs

Deloitte had tried to introduce workforce management across Private Clients and Tax & Legal , but it hadn't landed. I came in, built the team from the ground up, and spent the time to deeply understand how each business actually worked before designing something that fit them rather than forcing a generic model. That meant partnering closely with senior leaders across both divisions, earning their trust, and building a capacity workflow that made sense for their delivery model, not just ticking a compliance box. Built the national Resource Management practice and team from scratch across onshore and offshore hubs Improved profitability through better demand forecasting and getting the right people on the right work at the right time Created visibility of staff availability that didn't exist before, giving leaders the confidence to plan ahead Strengthened alignment between teams and delivery centres, reducing friction and improving execution Delivered 8% uplift in chargeability and 12% productivity improvement

  • Resource Management - Manager - Technology Consulting at PwC
    2011 - 2017 · 6 yrs

Six years at PwC's Technology & Digital practice during a period of real growth - new acquisitions, expanding delivery capability, and a business that was scaling fast. I was embedded in the technology team, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and becoming a trusted partner in how the practice grew and delivered. One of the things I'm most proud of from this time is being part of building the delivery centre in Bangalore, developing the capacity workflow and creating the operational connection between Australia and offshore teams that helped the practice scale without losing quality or margin. Beyond that I wore a lot of hats and I enjoyed it. Project team resourcing to optimise margins, onboarding of new tech acquisitions, running the contractor desk, managing the graduate program, and performance management that genuinely aligned people's skills with where they wanted to grow. Built and embedded a skills matrix with 90% adoption enabling data-driven staffing across the practice Led rollout of the Retain Resource Management platform as SME and change lead — 95% adoption with minimal disruption. Supported integration of multiple acquisitions with zero business disruption. Part of the team that established the Bangalore delivery centre and built the capacity workflows that connected local and offshore delivery.
