QA Engineer focused on risk, product quality and the human side of testing

About

I’m a curious, detail-oriented and sceptical QA Engineer, with experience in security-sensitive and regulated products, where risk awareness and attention to detail are non-negotiable. I work across the full SDLC - from reviewing requirements and Figma designs early in the process, to release validation and regression testing. Working in security-critical environments has sharpened my focus on the areas where things going wrong matters the most: authentication and authorisation flows, session handling and how sensitive data is handled throughout the product. I lean heavily on exploratory testing, complemented by UI automation with Playwright. I include accessibility checks as part of my testing practice and collaborate closely with developers, product managers and designers to catch issues before they become problems. I believe testing is a deeply human practice, it takes curiosity, empathy and critical thinking to truly understand how real people interact with a product and where things can go wrong. Tools and processes matter, but judgement is what makes the difference.
