Lab: Translational Infectious Disease Lab Supervisor: A/P Sylvie Alonso, A/P Catherine Ong Wei Min Worked on: Investigating the immunopathology of dysregulated angiogenesis in TB-DM cellular model. Evaluated sputum and plasma angiogenic factors obtained from TB and TB-DM patients. Established an in vitro DM-TB models that allow for prospective research to dissect pathways driving more severe clinical manifestation in TB-DM and the discovery of novel anti- angiogenic agents to potentially mitigate disease severity.
