I am a senior educational leader with over three decades of experience in international, bilingual, and whole-school leadership, serving most recently as Head of School and Pedagogical Director (2022–2025). Across my career, I have led schools through strategic transformation, with a particular focus on designing, implementing, and sustaining bilingual education programs aligned with international benchmarks and long-term institutional growth. As Head of School at TTH Barilan, I was responsible for the full conception, leadership, and execution of a school-wide bilingual program, consolidating it as a central and sustainable pillar of the institution. This work resulted in a five-year bilingual and institutional strategic plan, intentionally structured to support scalability, curricular coherence, and a future transition into the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum. My leadership integrates whole-school strategy and governance; curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment alignment; faculty development and leadership coaching; international frameworks, including IB philosophy and standards; evidence-based bilingual education practices. I hold a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in International Teaching and completed formal IB Head of School professional preparation in 2025. Head of School | TTH Barilan 2022–2025 Led the strategic transformation of a K–12 bilingual school, serving approximately 300 students and overseeing 120 faculty members and 80 staff. • Designed and implemented a whole-school bilingual education model, consolidating bilingualism as a central and sustainable institutional pillar. • Directed a program expansion from Preschool through Elementary, establishing the academic, organizational, and leadership structures required for long-term growth. • Conceived and delivered a detailed five-year institutional and bilingual strategic plan, intentionally structured to support the school’s progression toward International Baccalaureate (IB) candidacy. • Aligned curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment with international benchmarks and IB philosophy, translating global frameworks into coherent daily practice. • Built and mentored multidisciplinary leadership and teaching teams, strengthening instructional quality, professional culture, and shared ownership. • Left the institution with a fully articulated roadmap for continued expansion, leadership continuity, and international accreditation readiness.
1) Staff Development: Assist, supervise & develop human resource so educational and other programs may be well implemented; Assess staff needs & cooperate with Human Resources in recruiting, interviewing & making recommendations concerning employment; Assign staff to specific teaching/support positions; Supervise & direct teacher & other staff members annual evaluation. 2) Curriculum & Instruction: Maintain & improve the quality of the instructional program & school climate; Provide leadership in establishing & implementing educational goals & objectives as well as evaluating their attainment; Plan staff development & inservice days program; Curriculum revision & textbook selection; Establish organizational framework to bring all the school community together in an effective instructional program. 3) Student Relations: Provide leadership & support for services which foster the well-being of students while providing for their individual needs; Establish & direct behavior management systems; Compile, secure & use student records in compliance with local laws & policies. 4) Community Relations: Foster & maintain effective two-way communication among all members of the community; Meet with the PTA on monthly basis; Provide information about the school through newsletter, meetings, parent groups & other communication techniques; Present reports to the School Board & Superintendent; Develop relationships with individuals and community groups which support school goals, objectives & programs. 5) Resource Management: Prepare & implement budget which supports school programs. Professional & Personal Development: Develop & maintain professional & personal skills & the knowledge needed to provide an effective leadership as a principal; Participate in professional organizations; Visit programs in other schools & attend educational conferences and in services; Read current professional literature.
