Lead QC Welding Engineer & Piping Engineer with 15+ years of experience in QA/QC management, inspection coordination, and client liaison for major EPC and oil & gas projects. • Coordinated welding activities and welder’s qualifications; • Investigate welding related issues to improve product performance and increase productivity to new buildings & repairs; • Ensure welding performance and its consumables are in accordance with the approved WPS, client welding specifications and the relevant standards. • Coordinate the welding activities, weldability of non-alloy and low-alloy steels, high strength and extra high strength structural steels, austenitic, duplex and super duplex stainless steels, Ni-based, Cu-based alloys) and welders qualifications. • Develop repair procedures according to project • Troubleshoot welding problems and provide corrective solutions • Actively participate during quality inspections and keep relations with class/client representatives to clarify the specifications and expectations.
Conduct NDT inspection VT, RT, PT, MT, UT for: • piping & pressure equipments in Refinery KazMunayGAS Navodari (Rompetrol /Rominserv) • piping & pressure equipments in OMV Refinery Petrom Brazi (Area ISBL, OSBL). • structure Bridge Danube - Black Sea km 0+450.
•Leading team of NDT Inspectors for project - JACKET + Topside Akcakoca - Turkish Petrolerum during 01/2009 - 02/2011), coordinating activities of END operators • Conduct NDT inspection VT, RT, PT, MT, UT for piping & pressure equipments in Rompetrol Refinery - Areas DAV, DGRS, MHC, NEW-SRU.
