As an Integrated MSc Bioengineering from Oporto University I have been working in the Quality Assurance area for the Food Industry since 2014.
Quality Manager Back-up. Responsible for Consumer Complaint Management and SAP superuser. Continuous support of the daily operations of the quality assurance department at Nestlé Purina in activities such as grading of finished products, training of operators and other workers on key quality aspects and food safety, project support and management of changes. Member of Focus Improvement and Quality Pillars for factory TPM system and KPI reporting.

Lead for external complaint system to Raw Material Suppliers. Design and Implementation of new laboratory instructions and maintenance of laboratory good practices.
Colaboration with the Organic Chemestry III laboratory from the University of Ulm where a project was developed under the theme: Aptamer assited protein polymerization. During the research project several new laboratory techniques were learned such as fluorescent anisotropy measurements to estimate interaction constants, protein conjugation reactions as well as protein characterization and protein modeling. A new sense of team work and dedication towards a project was also acquired.
