I am a writer, editor and creative writing teacher with over six years' experience of helping women to turn their ideas into powerful books. I published my debut novel, As Luzes de Dois Cérebros Anárquicos, with a public literary grant (PROAC), and have since worked independently across the literary market as a writer, editor and creative writing tutor. Alongside my literary work, I am also a content creator and strategist, producing original content for Instagram and YouTube centred on creative writing, storytelling, literature, and the publishing industry. My videos, reels and educational posts blend literary analysis with accessible, inspiring storytelling, helping me to build a strong and engaged audience of aspiring writers. I have taught over 100 women in online workshops and collaborated with leading institutions such as Companhia das Letras and Escrevedeira. My method combines narrative structure, emotional storytelling and author branding to help new writers establish their presence both on the page and online with confidence. I create strategic and engaging Instagram content focused on writing, creative storytelling, literature and personal branding for writers (@anabarros.co). I combine visual storytelling, copywriting and educational content to build community, inspire writers and share valuable insights about the creative process and literary markets. As a writer, I specialise in literary fiction that explores female interiority, memory, mental health and emotional complexity. I am experienced in narrative experimentation, autofiction and lyrical prose, and I use these techniques to craft stories about identity, friendship, freedom and the struggle of living. In 2023, I was awarded the prestigious PROAC public literary grant (São Paulo State Government) for my debut novel, As Luzes de Dois Cérebros Anárquicos (2024), which combines innovative storytelling with socially engaged themes. I have over six years' professional experience in writing, editing and teaching creative writing, and I am skilled in manuscript development, literary analysis and narrative coaching. I am passionate about supporting emerging writers and expanding my presence in the international publishing market. On my YouTube channel, I research, script, film and edit long-form video essays in which I explore literature, storytelling, authorship, feminism and the emotional life of writing. My videos blend literary analysis, cultural commentary and personal reflection with the aim of inspiring and educating aspiring writers and readers. My channel is an extension of my work as a creative writing teacher and an independent author. I have developed videos on authors such as Jane Austen, Clarice Lispector and the Brontë sisters, as well as cultural critiques of series and movies such as Friends and Nosferatu. I always approach these topics from narrative and political perspectives. My key responsibilities as a YouTube content creator include: - Writing detailed, narrative-driven scripts (20–30 minutes) with literary and cultural depth; - producing and editing videos that balance research, voice-over and visual storytelling; - applying storytelling structures to essays and biographical content; - using SEO strategies (titles, descriptions, keywords, thumbnails) to maximize reach; - building a cross-platform audience by connecting the channel to Instagram, newsletters and writing programmes; - engaging with viewers through thoughtful discussions, comments and content feedback; - integrating the channel into my broader mission of helping women to write their first novel and develop their creative voice; Through this work, I have created a space for thoughtful and accessible literary content that speaks to women who write, think deeply and wish to find their place in the literary world.
