I'm a strategic creative thinker/do-er marketing leader, with particular strengths in messaging, marketing strategy, product management and GTM. I blend marketing experience and top-notch people skills with in-depth technical knowledge and customer insight, mixing in leadership abilities, storytelling skills and business acumen to tackle challenges and win in the marketplace. My experience is both broad and deep, with my career spent in diverse and highly technical global industries, including upstream oil & gas, utility (water, gas, electric, smart grid), manufacturing, IT services, industrial process control & measurement and semiconductor test. I haven't met a technology or market yet that I couldn't figure out and gain competitive advantage within it. I'm passionate about process (that's the engineer in me) and consistently focus on making things simpler, allowing the business to achieve repeatable results while continuing to grow and improve. I'm at my best in fuzzy, ambiguous, startup-oriented environments where something has to be built from scratch, requiring leadership, imagination, teamwork and collective creativity to build the business and achieve results.       Lead evangelist and story teller across the Security, Manageability and Resiliency portfolio for Dell client devices. I work across domains and subject matter, bringing together Dell core hardware security innovations with an ecosystem of carefully vetted partners to form a complete approach to secure, manage and recover Dell PCs for customers. Currently mentoring and developing product marketers in the group, implementing consistent launch processes (I'm 'writing the book' for PMMs). Extensive work in messaging, competitive analysis and positioning, writing/editing, sales training and customer presentations, working closely with key technologists, product managers, product marketers and global/field marketing worldwide.

My role requires close collaboration with a broad team and is a bit of everything, from technical papers & competitive analysis to providing support for PR/AR/blogs, thought leadership, exec comms., and all of the places in between. I use a very large toolset I've built over a long career in conjunction with the ability to go deep into the technology, available research and native creativity and insight to form and promulgate the stories that we use to explain what we do. I rejoined Dell in cybersecurity product management and then product marketing for Dell solutions and portfolio addressing cybersecurity (above and below the OS), manageability and device intelligence, plus the experience our users have with all of the above.
