Coordinate neuroanatomy and surgical simulation dissection labs and programs with residents and attending physicians. Acts as administrator to lab director. Establish and maintain relationship with vendors. Manage and updates all supply inventory. Train residents and staff on proper use of lab equipment. Update and maintain the lab safety plan/manual and the SDS manual and ensure all users are in compliance with those standards. Manage the lab’s website and educational outreach efforts. Supervise interns and residents, and initiate and participate in medical education research.
Supervise and assist medical students during gross anatomy labs, dissect as needed and assist in the preparation, execution, and grading of lab practicals. Administration of review sessions as well as make-up exams and assisted in general upkeep and management of the laboratory.
Assisted in the setup, monitoring, and breakdown of surgical simulation workshops and medical gross anatomy labs.
