After rediscovering my love of robotics and automation, I am now determined to pursue a career in the slowly evolving field of robotics, hoping to become a roboticist. Currently, I am working alongside undergraduate and graduate students on the Geodude Project, a bimanual manipulator robot utilizing Barrett WAM arms and BarrettHands at UW's Personal Robotics Lab. I hope to continue my work in robotics after graduation.
• Implemented a verbal method of communication for BarrettWAM and BarrettHand using ROS2 and Piper TTS • Researched and developed automatic camera calibration for Orbbec Femto Bolt cameras by utilizing existing GitHub repositories and open-source libraries • Composed a detailed guide on the usage and operation of Automatic Camera Calibration • Collaborated with graduate and undergraduate students during weekly meetings to update progress of the Geodude project and status of current concerns
• Diverted unwanted items from all UW departments and medical facilities to reuse, repurpose or recycle as many items as possible while assisting departments, non-profit organizations, and the general public by reducing funds spent • Cooperated with customers by collecting their purchases and helping them load & unloading sales into vehicles while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment • Processed and handled retail sales to departments, non-profits, government agencies, and the general public • Operated TouchNet interfaces to securely and quickly complete hundreds of transactions while maintaining proper records for store needs
