Worked at Royal Mail in Canterbury as a collection’s delivery driver in my university holidays (summer and christmas). This included working with businesses, firms and post offices in Canterbury to collect their outgoing deliveries and return them back to the depot. This was largely a driving role and included working in a team to sort the mail as well as emptying post boxes around Canterbury.
Been selected to be a MyProtein NXTGEN student ambassador, representing the brand at my uni and in the South. This requires attending brand organised events, creating social media content for the brand on a weekly basis, as well as communicating with the other ambassadors for my region. Also, involves pushing my unique discount code to encourage sales and earn commission for myself.
Worked at Tesco Extra in Exeter as a delivery driver alongside my university studies. This included driving the van and completing food orders on time for customers in Devon, loading the van correctly for the next round and sometimes working on the shop floor. This was largely a driving role and included working with other people to meet our SDS targets.
Worked as a temporary receptionist in a student accommodation run by Cloud Student Homes in Canterbury over my Easter holiday. This temporary role involved welcoming visitors/deliveries/students, resolving any student queries or issues, sorting out mail/parcels to hand over to students and communicating with the on-site maintenance man to guarantee relevant student issues were resolved.
Worked at the Cathedral Lodge in Canterbury as a waitress and general lodge assistant during my summer holiday. This included serving breakfast and dinner to customers, bar work, working at weddings, church events (Lambeth Conference) and parties, polishing, driving the cathedral car around the cathedral grounds to deliver food to different rooms and working in the cathedral coffee shop kiosk.
