Accounting duties includes but are not limited to accounts payable, preparation of payroll input data, payroll distribution excel worksheets, accounts receivable for all three sites and programs: ACC Administration, ACC Greenhaven Terrace (apartment complex) and Meals on Wheels by ACC. Input and process incoming grants and donations as well has miscellaneous billings and other related accounting task that support the senior accountant. Provide support to the Chief Operations Officer and Human Resources of a multi-site non-profit organization that promotes the general welfare and enhances the quality of life for older adults by identifying, developing, and providing culturally sensitive health and social services. Focus areas include providing complex administrative support such as scheduling, communications, special projects, and working independently in support of operations and general administration. With the Chief Operations Officer, produces and distributes materials in support of unit specific or intra-unit operations relative to risk management and safety, facilities maintenance and replacement, disaster planning, computer technology needs, etc. Prepare reports, memos, minutes and other documentation with accuracy, completeness and professional standards. General administrative responsibilities and day to day operations or its subsidiaries, including ACC Nursing Home, ACC Park City (community center), ACC Greenhaven Terrace (apartment complex) or Meals on Wheels by ACC (non profit organization that provides seniors daily hot/cold meals). Task includes coordination of building staff calenders, developing systematic message to welcome current and prospective clients and volunteers, organizing filing, planning, implementing mailing, special events and recognition occasions.
Responsible all daily administrative responsibility. Hire, train and supervise all other employees. Coordinate work orders, property showing, presentation meetings, and cliental follow-ups. Build relationships with diverse tenants and rental owners. Outreach and market for potential renters and rental owners. Manage financial transactions: input bills, invoice and monthly rent collections. Update and follow up with expenditure reports and payment confirmation between vendors and owners. Serve as a liaison between property owner, tenants and vendors. Mediated tenant disputes and property violations. Audit potential tenants and current tenants: credit checks, employment verification, rental history, etc. Prepare legal documentation such as lease agreements, vendor contracts, and tenant notices. Redesigned market strategies through different social media outlets and print designs. Research and familiarized myself with city and county ordinance; including policies and regulations of Sacramento Housing Redevelopment Agency.
Developed course curriculum and facilitated the Social Justice class on issues of: gang violence, healthy relationships, family communication, school violence, self-identity, and community service. Tutored and mentored middle school students of diverse backgrounds and under-served communities. Recruited students during school lunch and after school to attend program. Build relationships with afterschool and regular day school staff and faculty. Acted as a resource and adviser when counseling students on academic and personal goals. Developed, reviewed and evaluated program projects at weekly staff meetings. Coordinate with UC Davis outreach services for college preparatory programs and resources.
