Qualified Solicitor as of September 2018. I currently practice in the Residential Conveyancing and Private Client departments. I take pride in my work and take the time to listen to my clients and build a strong relationship with them. I have sat on the Law Society of Scotland Career Event Panel four times, which have been organised for students and trainee solicitors. At these events I have answered questions and provided guidance regarding the traineeship and becoming an NQ. I graduated from the University of Dundee with my Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2018 and from the University of Abertay Dundee in 2016 with a 2:1 LLB (Hons).
Dealing with the processing of Planning, Building and Housing Grant Applications, ensuring accuracy of documentation and plans. Prioritising tasks attributed to these three separate roles, meeting deadlines and highlighting areas of potential legal discrepancies. Customer communications addressing queries and resolving concerns of applicants, agents and third parties. Responsible for all administrative aspects of applications; e.g. invoicing, payments etc. This role has given me the opportunity to build effective working relationships with colleagues; liaise with external organisations and being receptive to urgent requests.
Managing the sales process of new and pre-registered vehicles on a daily basis from initial contact to closure. Ability to engage with customers in a friendly and positive manner, identifying their needs and exceeding expectations, from our initial meeting to after sale calls, ensuring customer satisfaction. Every day responsibilities from administrative responsibilities to the management of the showroom and forecourt appearance. Self-motivated and ambitious, working both as part of a team and individually, using my own initiative, to contribute to the success of the branch, exceeding my targets month on month. Successfully completed FSA and SAF training, which has been a prerequisite to the completion of the sales transactions, enabling the selling of financial products.
As class rep I am here to listen to any student problems, give students advice or seek advice or help for the students. I will take on board what each student has to say and take the appropriate action to achieve the required solution. This position involves working along with a second representative and attending class and school meetings.
