I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston in 2005, my masters in 2001, and my undergraduate degree at Southern Methodist University in 1999, majoring in English, Spanish, and Latin American Studies. I have worked in both school and hospital settings. My clinical specialties include anxiety and depression, eating disorders, body image concerns, family concerns, issues of identity and gender development, and transition to adulthood.
