CAHPS and HOS: Led the architecture design and implementation of CAHPS and HOS modules which are crucial components contributing to the success of the Medicare Advantage star rating program. Mentored junior engineers and conducted code reviews to ensure high-quality standards across the codebase. I’m an Android developer for the Family Safety app. It’s a parental control app for kid’s screen time on android, windows and xbox devices. Below are few highlights from my work here at Microsoft in the last couple of years. Platform: Android Language: Kotlin Libraries used: Kotlin Coroutines, Room Database, Dagger, Retrofit, Android Work Manager, Okhttp, Android Junit Test Work responsibilities: -Implemented the ‘screen time control’ feature end-to-end on Android using accessibility service. -There was no unit testing in our Android codebase, so I advocated and set up the unit testing framework for the whole team. This code has 90% coverage now. -I led the research effort to explore a multi-process environment for family safety app. -Finally, I won first place in the 2022 hackathon for building an audio classifier for toxic words on a child's device.
