I have always been fascinated by computers, and since I was in elementary school I knew I would end up in a career working with them. My first exposure to programming came actually quite late, when I was 15 or 16. I took a school course that had us code on C++. That was also my first exposure to the realities of our industry: the program I was making didn't get completed on time, even with features cut. Despite that, I immediately found myself fascinated by programming and understanding the magical world inside the computer, and so during the next year I taught myself Java. Since then I have learned that it doesn't matter what language or tools you are using; programming is just a realization of the thought process of the programmer. From my point of view it doesn't matter what you know, any programmer worth their salt can learn what they need to know in short order. What matters more is how you think, and that's the part that fascinates me. I am an Engineer!!
- Lead the development of Risk Engine for LOS Journeys - Single-handedly built a library called "Cadence" that allows for creation and execution of dymanic workflows based on json configuration. The library facilitates deploying lender specific workflows in minutes instead of months. This library is deployed across a variety of products which requires a backend driven workflow execution. - Created the Collateral Management System for use across LAS (Loan Against Securities) products. - Built a config store - an inhouse alternative to hashicorp consul - Contributed to Limits Management System - A tree store for storing limits across organizational hierarchy - Built a library called "Relay" - An engine to facilitate third party integrations, via json configuration, making integrations as simple as writing a json configuration. - Lead the product development for Jio-Wallet : An India focussed apple-wallet alternative. - Contributed to platform and infrastructure components as and when required. - Design and Review of upcoming products at SwiffyLabs. - Review and Moderation of Codebase
- Design, Build and Maintain the Solution around application and processing of Personal Loans - Build and Maintain the ZestMoney Orchestration layer(ZestLife Channel) that acts as a proxy between the Client facing App and the ZestMoney Internal Services - Built and maintained the Rewards engine - A place for customers to earn coins on transactions on the ZestMoney platform - Lead a team of Developers to build and maintain Zestmoney services while coordinating requirements with higher management and design and build solutions around it along with the development team. - Review and Moderation of Codebase
