I come with close to 29 years of experience working across India and the US as a technologist. Over the years, I’ve worked in the semiconductor industry, GovTech, global services, startups, and product companies. That exposure shaped how I look at technology, not as an end in itself, but as something that only works when business thinking is clear. My entrepreneurial journey started in 2012. My first venture, Intelligentia, began and scaled to around ₹50 crore with a team of 250 people, before it had to be shut down in 2016. I went bankrupt during that year. Looking back, it failed largely because of my lack of experience and my mental blocks with sales, i always thought sales is not me. That phase was hard, but it taught me lessons I still rely on today also, about leadership, ownership, and what it actually takes to build a sustainable business. Rapyder started in 2017 as an experiment with 5 people. In many ways, it was the mother of all risks. But that journey changed me. It pushed me to learn, unlearn, and slowly move from being a hands-on technologist to thinking more like a business strategist. I’ve been fortunate to have support along the way from my family, my teams, and leadership coaches who helped me see my own blind spots. Today, Rapyder is a team of 400+ #rapyDears. We’re working toward our Mission 26 to accelerate the business and build a 600+ strong cloud expert organisation without losing what makes us grounded. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time learning through reading, leadership coaching, and conversations that challenge how I think. I enjoy golf lessons, badminton, and travelling, especially when it helps me slow down and look at things with a fresh perspective. Apart from Rapyder, I actively invest in early-stage startups. My current portfolio includes eight companies and is expected to grow over the next couple of years. I’m particularly interested in FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, and EV. On LinkedIn, I mostly write to think out loud about building businesses, making decisions under uncertainty, and learning along the way.
CloudEva is early, opinionated, and focused on one thing: helping teams understand cloud change and make better decisions before governance becomes painful.
