Gained knowledge on parametric amplification and impedance matching techniques through research and study. Performed RF characterization of samples at 4.2 K and mK temperatures with customized measurement setups to validate circuit performance. Designed the layout of the circuit for fabrication using Python and simulated it in HFSS/Sonnet. Fabricated samples utilizing aluminum and niobium-trilayer technology to ensure optimal material properties. Developed understanding about Parametric Amplification and Impedance matching techniques.
Designed cQED circuits using Qiskit-metal and developed a library to implement different components in the circuit more efficiently. Simulated qubit tests using QuTiP library in Python to support research objectives. Measured samples in liquid Helium and analyzed transmission spectrum using Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) to contribute to experimental findings.
