About

🔬 Ph.D. Researcher | CFD & Electrochemical Systems | Sustainable Energy Innovation I am a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Toronto, working under the supervision of Prof. Ali Dolatabadi at the Mechanical Inter-Disciplinary (MIND) Lab. My research integrates computational fluid dynamics (CFD), machine learning, and multiphysics modeling to advance our understanding of hydrogen bubble evolution in electrochemical systems—crucial for optimizing hydrogen production and clean energy technologies. With an academic foundation built at the University of Tehran (B.Sc., M.Sc.) and honed through research in both experimental and simulation-based labs, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to problems in renewable energy systems, bubble dynamics, and thermal-fluid analysis. I’ve published in high-impact journals such as Energy Conversion and Management, Physics of Fluids, and the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy. 🛠 Technical Skills & Interests: ➤ Engineering Simulation: Expert in COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS Fluent, and CFD techniques for fluid and thermal system modeling. ➤ Programming & Data Analysis: Skilled in MATLAB and Python, with applications in simulation automation, optimization, and data processing. ➤ Machine Learning Applications: Integrating AI into physical modeling and predictive analytics for energy and transport phenomena. ➤ Thermodynamic Design: Experienced in energy system analysis using EES, RefProp, and CoolProp. ➤ CAD & Prototyping: Solid modeling with SolidWorks for experimental validation and system development. My work is fueled by a passion for applying engineering principles to global challenges, particularly those relevant to sustainable energy in the developing world. I also enjoy teaching and mentoring, having served as a TA for courses in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and programming. Let’s connect if you're interested in energy systems, surface engineering for electrolysis, or CFD simulation in electrochemical applications.
