I am a graduate of Oxford Brookes University, class of 2017. I loved my time there and since then have been lucky enough to gain employment with some amazing hotels. I was lucky to join Barnsely House, almost straight out of university and I worked here from April 2018-2022 holding many roles across the restaurant, reception and sales/marketing office. In January of 2020 I completed an internal management course, at the time the hotel was owned by the Calcot Collection, the “aspiring managers” was a year long interactive course by STORM training, which was offered to the hotels' rising stars. The hotel was subsequently sold in November 2021 and my role grew from FOH manager into a Sales & Marketing position, giving a more detailed snapshot into the logic and behaviours of our ideal client. In August 2022, I joined the world renowned 'Cotswold Guy', to manage the office and event bookings of high profile dinner party events. My husband is the Head Chef and I very much enjoyed working with him here. Then, as of April 2023, I jumped head first back into the hotel-world as GM of the Abbey Town House, of Pineapple Town Houses. I have proven myself as a strong leader and with a full renovation planned I spent an excited year renovating the hotel rooms. In March 2024 my husband and I were lucky enough to be offered a position managing a country pub in Dorset, which we hesitantly took on and have been running ever since.
