When I started working for Brass Facilities the company was a small Birmingham based firm, it has now substantially grown with a customer base throughout the Midlands borders to as far South as Cambridge and North as Leeds. I am responsible for the overall general management of the entire organisation, which includes the management of our 4 high calibre, regional field service teams and logistics facility. I am regularly the ‘first face’ all new customers see. I often interface with the client during project start up’s and as a result I am at the forefront of our thriving, fast moving company. 1. Achieve robust financial advice with our finance team by achieving stretched budgetary and forecast targets including P&L responsibility. 2. Lead the budgeting and forecast process across the business to ensure that all financial and customer goals are achieved. 3. Constantly seeking to identify and oversee the execution of cost reduction exercises. 4. Work with our business development team with an aim to identify, forecast and maximise sales opportunities within the existing business customer database but also in line with strategic planned target objectives for new growth industries. 5. Drive the performance of the business at all levels from the 4 regional supervisory roles to our management teams. 6. Develop an ongoing improvement programme to achieve high customer service levels and satisfaction, whilst improving operational efficiency for the quality for all of our facility services. 7. Oversee facility management projects throughout all of our regional teams’ portfolios. 8. Ensure our health and safety officer is in complete control of our training and best practices for health & safety, making certain that each regional manager is in compliance to standards. 9. Keeping in contact with our HR officer of any possible serious employee matters.
