Hi! I am a 2D Animator and Director based in the UK with a passion for all things drawn. Across my career in international animation spanning more than 14 years, I have provided 2D character animation and clean-up animation on such multi-award winning feature films and shorts as: A Magnificent Life (Annecy International Animation Film Festival nominated) Star Wars Visions Volume 2: Screecher's Reach (Emmy Award and Annie Award winner) The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse (Academy Award®, BAFTA and Annie Award winner) My Father’s Dragon (Irish Animation Award winner) Affairs of the Art (Academy Award® and BAFTA nominated) Wolfwalkers (Academy Award®, Golden Globe® and BAFTA nominated) La Fameuse Invasion Des Ours En Sicile (Cannes Film Festival nominated) Ethel & Ernest (Annecy International Animated Film Festival nominated) Delivered to clients for broadcast/streaming at: BBC, Netflix, Disney+, iTV, Channel 4, Apple TV, Pathé. In addition to studio work, I am a freelance contractor as 'AmberDust Studios' producing animation, illustration, commercials and storyboards for clients across the UK, USA and Europe, while continuing personal projects between work. I also became a part-time University Lecturer for three years delivering degree-level teaching on animation principles and have been invited to speak to students about my career as a guest lecturer. In my spare time I enjoy watching films, playing video games and tabletop roleplaying games with a weekly games group, reading fictional novels and 'art of' books as well as days out with friends and traveling to new places. I am also a part of a comics collective 'Wine & Zine' that myself and 4 friends co-created and exhibit at UK comic conventions with our self-published comics and zines. http://www.amberdust.co.uk
