I’m a technically-driven product thinker with a strong background in building and scaling backend systems, and a growing passion for delivering user-centric, data-driven solutions. With ~6 years of experience at companies like Microsoft, Uber, Amazon, and Samsung, I’ve led initiatives from ideation to execution, working at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations. At Uber, I led the Bliss Translate platform, enabling real-time translation of 2.5M+ messages daily across 7 languages—delivering $5M in annual cost savings and significantly improving global support operations. I drove the product vision, roadmap, and stakeholder alignment across 25+ cross-functional partners while ensuring system resilience, scalability, and operational excellence. At Microsoft, I contributed to product reliability and stakeholder visibility by driving telemetry, alerting, and dashboarding efforts for security workflows, empowering proactive decision-making. I also prioritized accessibility by leading compliance improvements to ensure an inclusive product experience. I’m deeply invested in collaborative leadership, strategic thinking, and using metrics to drive continuous improvement. Whether it's leading cross-timezone teams, aligning diverse stakeholders, or ensuring smooth rollouts through documentation and training, I strive to bridge the gap between technical execution and business impact. Currently, I’m looking to transition into a Senior Software Engineer role where I can leverage my engineering expertise and passion for solving real-world problems to drive scalable, impactful products. Let’s connect if you’re building something ambitious and need someone who can take it from whiteboard to production—at scale.
As a part of Microsoft Security, I led the efforts to improve system observability by driving the implementation of telemetry and alerts for authentication and compliance workflows. This initiative empowered stakeholders to monitor key system metrics, such as heartbeat signals, auth request failures, and success rates. Further, I led the design and development of Power BI dashboards to visualize request trends, enabling product and engineering teams to make data-driven decisions by providing actionable insights into system usage and performance patterns. Apart from that, I also prioritized app accessibility by identifying and driving the resolution of multiple accessibility issues, ensuring the product met compliance standards and delivered an inclusive experience for all users.
I led the development and successful launch of Bliss Translate, a platform that enables real-time translation of support messages between customers and agents across 7 global languages. By managing the translation of approximately 2.5 million messages daily across ~100,000 support tickets (contacts), the platform delivered $5M in annual cost savings by improving agent efficiency and reducing language dependency in global operations. As the primary owner and cross-functional lead, I worked closely with over 25 stakeholders, including product, engineering, operations, and vendor teams, to define the product vision, create a delivery roadmap, and align on key success metrics. I was responsible for driving strategic decisions around access control, data architecture, and system resilience, ensuring the platform met the highest standards of reliability and scale. I prioritized and facilitated cross-team collaboration to align on API contracts, analytics reporting, and operational SLAs, and established clear feedback loops through regular metric publication and alerting. I supported a seamless rollout by contributing to agent training and SOP documentation, while also reporting and resolving multiple bugs to ensure platform stability and a high-quality user experience. In addition, I spearheaded an organization-wide reliability initiative called Component Test, aimed at minimizing service outages and improving developer efficiency. I proposed and led the implementation of a Fakes Injection Framework, enabling teams to test components in isolation and catch issues early. By driving adoption across five services, this initiative led to a 30% reduction in monthly outages and significantly improved developer productivity through faster, more reliable testing cycles. These experiences strengthened my ability to drive strategic initiatives, align diverse teams around a common goal, and deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions with measurable business impact.
As a backend developer, I have owned and designed the e2e backend architecture of Nostradamus, a seller portfolio optimizer dashboard. I have implemented 5 Java APIs that fetch the data from Elastic Search clusters and S3 buckets, subsequently serving the frontend dashboard. This tool is instrumental in providing ~1M sellers globally with valuable insights into their seller portfolios, aiding in optimization efforts. Apart from that, I have also designed the backend architecture of the cashback mechanism in the IN Marketplace for the Early Reviewer Program.
I have developed a data-visualization tool RSRP Plotter using Python for signal strength analysis. This tool is used by engineers across 5 different teams to visualize 5 different smartphone models's network reception performance under various scenarios.
As a part of the Amazon Business team, I have developed two Python packages using Beautiful Soup and Pandas libraries. These are used for collecting data of ~10M small businesses, from multiple external sources. This information is used for creating personalized product experiences for B2B customers.
