Hi, I'm Akash, an incoming CMU MSCF student. I am actively seeking a 2025 Summer Internship in Quantitative Trading and Portfolio Management. In my undergraduate years, I focused on building a solid foundation in macroeconomics, game theory, and consumer finance through extensive research assistant positions and independent research projects I also developed and strengthened my quantitative skills such as programming, math, and machine learning through my coursework as an Economics and Mathematics major and Computer Science minor. During my junior year, I was the president of the Economics Research Club, helping present and connect my fellow economics and business students to the world of academic economics research. Outside of academics, I play a variety of sports from badminton and volleyball to martial arts such as boxing and krav maga. The discipline, time management, communication and leadership skills I have acquired have prepared me well for my incoming MSCF studies and future career as a quantitative trader this fall. If you are looking to hire a Summer quant intern who is strong in data analysis and coding, and passionate and curious about economics and the financial markets, feel free to directly message me or email me at [email protected]. I look forward to connecting with you!
