About

I started Fortunekit with three college friends in 2015, in our professor's basement. Seven years. No funding. We built our own GPS tracking hardware because Teltonika imports were priced for Europe, not for an Indian transporter running on 4% margins. By the end we had 20,000+ vehicles on the platform, 5 million API calls a day, and a team of about 30. Municipal corporations. Fertiliser plants. Agri sensor networks for MQTT-based irrigation. We took whatever the market gave us. The model shifted around 2017. People stopped hiring "Fortunekit." They started asking for me and Gouresh by name. So we changed the deal: equity plus a monthly retainer instead of project fees, embedded as co-CTO, owned product end-to-end. Biizlo. EasyGoals (with Pranesh and Devatanu, ex-HDFC Innovations). Camelport. DriveLT. Ezo Books. ZeoAuto, when it was still in Y Combinator. In 2022 I shut Fortunekit and joined GoMechanic as Senior PM. Five things in one role: outbound call infrastructure for the lead-to-booking funnel, the GoConnect OBD connected-car line, an ad platform we shipped from scratch (BrandHub), partnerships with Kotak, Ola, CRED and RuPay, and the Malaysia launch. The company collapsed about a year after I joined. In 2023 I joined ZYOD, a D2C apparel manufacturing platform out of Gurugram, as Head of Product, Tech and Design. We were building a Manufacturing OS, a single system for the full apparel supply chain: design, sourcing, fabric, sewing floor, finishing, dispatch, and quality control. Three years in. We instrumented 700+ sewing machines on the shop floor, cut fabric cycle time from 23 days to under seven, set up IoT R&D with IIT Delhi, and scaled the product/eng/design team from four to thirty-plus. Now I'm at Binary Semantics as Product Strategy & Lead, FleetRobo. Different problem set, same instinct. Factories, warehouses, fleets, supply chains. Industries where the software is usually bad because the people writing it have never sat next to an operator and watched what they actually do. Three things I do that most product people don't: • Write the code when I need to • Ship the hardware when there's no off-the-shelf option • Run the team when both are happening at once Three things I think are broken: • "Industrial AI" is mostly dashboards with a different paint job • "Vertical SaaS" is mostly horizontal SaaS with industry-themed landing pages • We keep building React apps for problems that need reliable data pipes I write about all of this. If you disagree, the comments are open. Gurgaon. Building product for industries that move atoms.

  • Product Strategy and Lead - Fleetrobo at Binary Semantics Ltd.
    Feb 2026 - Present · 6 mos

I'm leading product strategy for FleetRobo, Binary Semantics' logistics and manufacturing SaaS. What I work on right now: Multi-year product strategy. I lead the strategy across FleetRobo's product lines: plant logistics, transport management, video telematics, and AI-driven workflows. The job is to align engineering, design, sales, and CS around a common roadmap. Platform layer across product lines. Most enterprise fleet stacks are stitched together from disconnected tools. The work I'm doing is on the platform layer that lets these pieces talk to each other. Shared data, shared identity, clean integrations. Most of it is unsexy plumbing. None of it makes a press release. It is what decides whether the platform actually holds. Multi-site enterprise rollout. Currently leading product on one of our larger enterprise deployments, a plant-to-port logistics flow in the ports and industrial space. AI in industrial software. Exploring where AI actually pulls weight in this space. Institutional knowledge capture, workflow automation, decision support for operators who don't have time to read dashboards. Working close to the customer. I sit on the shop floor and in the truck cabin when I need to. I write code when I need to. I run the team when both are happening at once. Industries: automotive, cement, steel, FMCG, ports, logistics and 3PL. Building product for industries that move atoms, not just bits.

  • Head of Product at ZYOD
    Apr 2023 - Jan 2026 · 2 yrs 10 mos

I was Head of Product, Tech & Design at ZYOD. We built a tech-enabled fashion manufacturing platform serving 500+ SMEs, 550+ D2C brands, and 50+ global retailers. Landmark Group, Reliance Retail, NEXT, Walmart, Anthropologie. 40 countries. I joined as the first Head of Product. Scaled the team from 4 to 30+ across product, engineering, and design. What I shipped: Manufacturing OS, built 0 to 1 The core operating system. A digital twin of the factory floor running production planning, quality, dispatch, and live operations. None of it existed before. 70% cycle time reduction Cut fabric-to-finished-garment cycle from 23 days to under 7. Real, attributable to the scheduling and planning systems we designed. Not a vanity number. IoT at scale Connected sensors across 700+ sewing machines for real-time productivity tracking. Set up the R&D partnership with IIT Delhi for next-gen industrial IoT. Product, tech, and design under one roof I owned all three functions. Hired and led product managers, engineering leads, and designers. Set the standards for roadmap, architecture, and the design system. Built during ZYOD's Series A growth phase, $21.5M total funding from RTP Global and Lightspeed. The platform that made on-demand, tech-enabled fashion manufacturing actually scalable.

  • Senior Product Manager at GoMechanic.in
    Apr 2022 - Mar 2023 · 1 yr

India's largest car services network. 1,000+ workshops across India and Malaysia, 500+ cities. Led product across five areas: outbound call infrastructure, the OBD connected-car product line, BrandHub (ad platform), partnerships, and Malaysia growth. Outbound call infrastructure GoMechanic's call funnel was leaking on connect time. Users waited 15-20 seconds before pickup, batch retry was broken, CTI vendor integration kept dropping. I led the product fix. Worked with analytics on predictive dialing, engineering on the lead management schema, call center team on rollout. Connect time dropped to ~5 seconds. Backend load on LMS dropped ~25%. Agents saved 20 mins per shift on idle wait. GoConnect OBD 1.0 & 2.0 Owned the OBD connected-car line. Real-time location, health tracking, driving behavior, safety. Grew user base past 10K in six months, drove 20%+ MOM acquisition, brought attrition down 80%. BrandHub Conceived and launched GoMechanic's contextual ad platform. 5M+ users, 70K+ DAU, 1.5M+ MAU, 60+ cities. Built the ad surface, targeting logic, campaign management, brand onboarding, and per-campaign performance reporting. Miles Membership v2 Restructured pricing into tiers per car category, expanded benefits, bundled GoConnect. 25% off 200+ services, 10% off 1,000+ accessories, 2 free SOS, 1,200+ workshops across 35+ cities. Crossed 50,000+ members within a year. Miles still anchors GoMechanic's recurring revenue. Partnerships Owned product feasibility and design for partner integrations: Kotak IOCL, Ola Cabs, RevOs, Kazam, Zoomcar, CRED, Grab, RuPay. The CRED insurance claim flow lived inside their app, not ours. Malaysia growth Drove user acquisition through app partnerships, not field expansion. Telecom, Hardware, SaaS partners. Pre-owned and subscription car businesses became the unlock. Sales grew ~19% MOM. WhatsApp rebuild Shipped an agent-based bot on Karix's API. Built a panel so marketing could test campaigns without an engineer.
