Amanda Henderson is a counselor and nonprofit strategist specializing in the fusion of biblical truth and evidence-based childhood and adolescent developmental counseling and educational practices. As President of the American Association of Christian School Counselors, she serves to further enhance Christian counseling professional standards and effective, biblically-aligned school counselor resources. She strives to empower Christian counselors and educational leaders to serve with biblical integrity and fidelity, while also employing data-driven decision making. Amanda is known for her passion of biblically aligning executive function strategy and translating secular educational research and resources into practical, faith-aligned practices for Christian families, educators, and organizations.
As President of the American Association of Christian School Counselors, I advocate to better define, establish, and advance the role of the Christian School Counselor. I oversee the organization’s strategic direction, develop biblically aligned and developmentally informed resources, and build partnerships with Christian educators, counselors, and leaders.

Founder and creator of start-up non-profit supporting animal-assisted mental health initiatives, education, and wellness. Experiential events with animals are evidence-based stress and anxiety reducers. Extended community impact by partnerships with local schools and civic initiatives.
