Supported SEND pupils (Years 7-9) with home learning and emotional support during Covid Lockdown and on return to school. Left to undertake a full time joint BA Hons degree in English Language/Linguistics and Education Studies at Oxford Brookes University (graduate - 2023)
Working primarily at The Oxford Academy, Oxford: Supported SEND pupils (years 7-9) in class and with literacy intervention programmes. Covered teacher illness for Year 7 mainstream English classes. Worked with colleagues to design and deliver emotional/behaviour support programmes for Year 11 pupils and Year 8 boys.
Part time teaching of English as a foreign language (Elementary - Advanced level) with: 1. Robertson Languages International, Wargrave (summer school - Italian students: age 15-18) 2. The English Language Centre, Reading (adult students of varying nationalities) 3. Europa Language School, Bournemouth (summer school - Italian students: age 16) 4. In Focus Europe, London (one to one business English to professionals as part of an immersion programme in the UK)
