About

I've always been someone who builds things. Every company I started and every community I grew kept pointing me toward the same place: Thrivia. It began in my first year of college with GigBix, connecting live artists and comedians to cafe and hotel chains, with Radisson as our first client. Around then I picked up coding, started working with US clients, and saw a massive gap between what colleges taught and what the industry actually needed. So we built CodeAsylums, India's first co-living coding bootcamp, and bootstrapped it to a 15,000-student community and $500K ARR, all while I was still finishing college. Then Covid hit. An offline bootcamp couldn't survive it, and going online meant fighting Byju's and Whitehat Jr in an edtech bloodbath, so I shut it down. I spent 2.5 years at Walmart as a Software Engineer, and later worked at Apollo.io (YC-backed) and Rockefeller PA. But living in Bangalore, I missed the community I'd had at CodeAsylums, so I started House of Utopia on the side, themed events and house parties that grew to around 1,000 members. When my job went remote, I started backpacking across the Himalayas and Southeast Asia, and noticed something shifting. Post-Covid travelers no longer wanted the tourist checklist. They wanted real experiences: small treks, waterfall walks, off-the-grid trips. I started organizing exactly that under Zoo Retreat, treks and trips to Pushkar and Spiti. People kept showing up. That's when Thrivia clicked. Thrivia is an AI-powered booking platform for independent travel organizers running treks, trips, and retreats across India. Today 80% of travel plans start on Instagram and most die in the DMs, while organizers juggle five tools to run one trip: WhatsApp, Google Forms, UPI screenshots, spreadsheets. Thrivia replaces all of it with one link. Our AI replies to every DM in seconds, qualifies and captures the lead in a built-in CRM, takes payment, and sends instant confirmation, with a live funnel of visits, drop-offs, and conversions. As each organizer brings their own audience, Thrivia becomes where travelers discover and book experiences. Come for the tool, stay for the marketplace. First 90 days, zero ad spend: 110 organizers, 12,000+ travelers, 16,000+ bookings, ~₹20L GMV, 540K+ organic reach. I thrive-via (thrivia) intersection of Product, Vision and Communities. Currently on a mission to change how people experience the world.

Thrivia is where independent travel organizers run and sell their trips. It gives them one link to sell their treks, trips, and retreats, with AI that replies to every DM, captures the lead, and takes the payment. Website: https://thrivia.io • Building Thrivia from zero into a booking engine that turns an organizer's Instagram post into a one-link booking flow, replacing the 5–7 tools they juggle today. • Built an AI layer that replies to every Instagram and WhatsApp DM in seconds, qualifies high-intent leads using an in-house activity-scoring algorithm, and captures every lead in a built-in CRM. • Shipped instant payments, automated booking confirmations and refunds, and a live analytics funnel (visits, drop-offs, conversions) so organizers run their entire operation on autopilot. • Drove early traction with zero ad spend: 110 organizers, 12,000+ travelers, 16,000+ bookings, ~₹20L GMV, and 540K+ organic reach in the first 90 days. • Leading a lean, cross-functional team of 15 across product, engineering, AI, design, marketing, and sales. • Own fundraising, product strategy, GTM, and supply-side growth; currently raising a pre-seed round. Recognized externally: • Part of Sine Start Cohort 6 from Incubator by IIT Bombay • Won $10K AWS credits in the AWS Campus Fund Grand Challenge 2024. • Interviewed with the South Park Commons Fellowship team.
