● Support Fortune 500 & S&P100 companies in tracking emissions across scopes 1, 2, and 3, develop net zero targets, quantify a pathway to reach target, and activate internal leadership & stakeholders through the build out of a comprehensive climate program ● Lead and pilot FLAG (forest, land, and agriculture) emissions calculation, emission factor development, target setting, and Net-zero decarbonization strategy for apparel, food & beverage, and consumer goods clients. ● Support on financed emissions calculations using PCAF methodology for key financial services clients ● Develop strategic frameworks for climate transition disclosure services, aligning with CSRD, CA Climate Bill, IFRS, and CSDDD ● Perform climate‑risk and scenario analysis in accordance with TCFD, identifying both physical and transition risks/opportunities for regulatory compliance (CA SB261, CSRD) and strategic insight ● Advise C-suite executives and board members on sustainability target setting and investment strategies, influencing corporate commitments and securing funding for decarbonization efforts. ● Design and implement scope 3 supplier engagement strategies, including activating clients’ suppliers in education on measuring, tracking, and decarbonizing GHG emissions in support of clients’ scope 3 targets ● Strategize and quantify opportunities for decarbonization of client operations utilizing energy efficiency measures. This includes determining best approach for financing either through CAPEX & incentives, or through OPEX ● Manage cross-functional teams of 2–5 professionals across multiple projects, ensuring seamless coordination between technical analysis, policy alignment, and stakeholder engagement. ● Mentor and train a cohort of 6+ new analysts, designing professional development roadmaps and staffing them on high-impact projects
- Perform full scope 1, 2, 3 GHG inventory for clients, including in personal care products, solar power generation, professional services, DNA testing, etc... - Guide clients through Science-based Targets Initiative (SBTi) validated net-zero and short term targets through comprehensive emissions reduction strategy, including mapping emission reduction potential up to target year - Conduct peer benchmarking analysis on sustainability and climate related KPIs including validated SBTis targets, renewable energy procurement, and any other public initiatives/goals -Perform global waste baseline calculations for clients (confidential) in order to understand waste hotspots, leakage, and areas of opportunity for improvement -Advise and provide technical language support on client sustainability/ESG/investor reports as it related to their GHG inventory and progress towards GHG reduction targets
• Conduct research and market evaluation of current and developing environmental sustainability-related initiatives, such as the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) recommendations, climate-scenario analysis and/or financed emissions. • Conduct detailed benchmarking research on various ESG rating systems, supply chain and sustainability commitments, and peer company disclosures • Perform GHG gap analysis on scopes 1, 2, and 3 using PCAF data • Code and identify over $2M worth of green loans in order to report towards sustainable lending goals
