• Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. • Keep up with orders and customer needs in a fast paced work environment without sacrificing quality. • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock. • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment. • Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods. • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand. • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas. • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. • Sweep or scrub floors.
