Responsible for media monitoring, content development, press outreach, and field team management for a range of clients in the energy, telecommunications, and healthcare sectors.
Interviewed prospective students and met with their families to assist them in the college admissions process. Also assisted in facilitating, planning, and staffing Admissions Open House events and coordinated strategic outreach to Eisenhower Scholar recipients.
Worked to advance the interests of the college and the Public Policy department by editing and reviewing peer-submitted academic work.
Communicated the value of a Gettysburg College education to prospective students, families, and groups. Spoke alongside faculty members to 15-25 families during high school student information sessions.
Selected for a competitive partnership with the U.S. Department of State to “course-source” research related to foreign policy efforts with a team of six Gettysburg College students. Conducted data analysis assessing the effectiveness of U.N. Human Rights Council Special Procedures for the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor. Drafted a report and orally presented country-specific case studies and statistical analysis to State Department employees in Washington D.C.
Designed, created, and presented a Digital Humanities project using materials from college archives with a focus on the history of student-led civic engagement at Gettysburg College. Collaborated with the student cohort to build a micro-project and demonstrate uses for digital tools such as Scalar, TimelineJS, and StoryMapJS. Presented at the Bucknell University Digital Scholarship Conference in October 2022.
Supported 6 students in their transition to college as a mentor and representative of the Public Policy department. Worked closely with students to develop their Planned Policy Action projects relating to an identified policy problem in their local community.
