Configuration Management (CM) subject matter expert (SME) and Team Lead managing CM resources, establishing program policy, creating Configuration Management Plans, while providing guidance and leadership for the day to day tactical delivery of Defense Acquisition services to the Product Management Office. Prepare briefings, reports and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) updates to the Product Management Office, ensuring management receives the appropriate awareness of product manufacturing issues, risks, schedule impacts and system hardware and software changes. As contracts are awarded I review each Statement of Work (SOW) to validate Government data requirements as they relate to product configuration management. In the event there are any discrepancies or omissions, I will provide the Contracting Officer with the appropriate updates to fulfill the program Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) prior to acceptance for procurement. Routinely conduct configuration audits (FCA/PCA) both in-house and at Contractors site to control and define the performance and as-built baselines for each system and associated configuration item (CI) throughout the product life-cycle. CM tool SME and run-time administrator supporting over 300 users CONUS/OCONUS of Serena Business Mashups and Version Manager on both Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) and Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) networks. Provide resource management of direct reports and matrix team members, which includes conducting performance reviews, determining individual training & development needs, and mentoring on the principles and concepts of configuration management.
Defined common industry procedures and requirements associated with Software Configuration Management (SCM) within the financial industry and applied SCM best practices against the Client's end-to-end processes to identify process deficiencies in their development, build and deployment of various Card Services applications. Interacted closely with the Client's management team to evaluate new and existing SCM procedures, current process deficiencies and determine remediation solutions that meet/or exceed the compliance and audit requirements of the banking industry. Used MS Project to capture and track the project tasks, while managing the progress of the team through a series of weekly status reports and meetings with team leads to review project schedules and deliverables, identify risks and plan mitigation approaches.
