The 7 Space | Art Gallery & Wellness Center, by HigherSelf, uniquely blends art, music, experiential design, and immersive healing approaches to foster wellness in Downtown Newark. Art is one of our most powerful healing tools and a pathway to personal and community well-being. Our space features a central gallery that showcases a diverse range of art forms, from paintings and sculptures to digital art, created by amazing local artists. Auxiliary rooms are versatile areas to host conversations, create art, move your body, meditate, enjoy the sun, or have a cup of tea at our wellness bar. The Skidmore College Alumni Board is the primary representative body for the Skidmore College Alumni Association. The board strives to connect them with one another and the College through classes, clubs, and affinity groups; reunions, mini-reunions, awards, and travel programs; online and print publications; and regional, on-campus, and young alumni events. The board facilitates alumni volunteer recruitment and encourages the diverse involvement of alumni. The board assists the board of trustees, advancement staff, faculty, students and other partners to enhance the college's relationship with alumni. The board helps enhance the image, quality, and reputation of Skidmore and fosters a spirit of loyalty and fellowship among alumni.

ITOC is an ongoing critical professional development space designed to support well-being, strengthen racial literacy, and cultivate the racial justice leadership capacities of teachers of Color who work in K-12 public schools that serve students of Color. A unique collaboration between the disciplines of Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, and Ethnic Studies, this national conference rigorously selects and supports approximately 150 ITOC Fellows each year. The reality of committing to racial justice in schools takes a toll on educators' holistic well-being. My role on the leadership team is to support educators in centering their wellness and healing. I curate and facilitate spaces for healing, wellness, and self/community care to support the social-emotional and physical health of ITOC Fellows.
