• Responsible buyer of (e)OV512 – Opel Astra, (e)D41 – DS4 Crossback, (e)OV64 – Opel Grandland vehicle’s complete JIT seating commodity with extra responsibility of 2 seating Europe located supplier . • Supplier relationship management including; business review, performance review, executive summary contribution. • Execution of cost saving studies, possible supply chain risks and leading escalation risk elimination activities. • Leading; RFQ/RFI sourcing phase, carry-over – MCA/Midlife and CKD/CBU activities for regions and different programs. • Negotiations of LTA (long term agreement), BPI (business plan improvement), one-shot yearly & MYC (multi year contract) activities. • Running mass production engineering and price changes (FETE) in co-ordination with internal stakeholders. • Evaluation of price walkings, BOMs, CBD’s and final decision making for any commercial break points. • Price amendments, open and closed order creation in ERP (SAP) system and approval responsible of related invoices.
• Responsible of purchasing activities of following commodities; casting, forging, stamping, powder metallurgy, machining, turning, plastic injection & extrusion, welding, fastener groups and complete assembled units. • Working on the development and implementation of a new, more efficient procurement strategy and performing a proffesional cost analysis. • Defining existing and new suppliers and vendors goals and strategies. • Leading; relocation, localization, outsource, phase out and saving purchasing and platform projects activities. • Defining project scope, scope level, RFQ, sourcing decision, budget, milestone of the projects, provide technical and communicative feedback to supplier during quotation and launch phases. • Coordinating good practice activities together with suppliers to ensure project milestones and quality. • Leading sampling and reporting activities of projects until SOP, creating info records and schedule agreements for serial phase of the parts. • Participating in process release audits at suppliers and vendors site, planning ramp-up and ramp-down activities. • Presenting of saving goals overview in steering committies and in common worldwide purchasing platform.
• Managing the nominated seats, headrest & armrest projects in Turkey and Romania as a leader by coordinating with the sales, launch, cost analysis, quality, purchasing, supplier quality and logistics departments. • Expertise of the commodity groups; forging, stamping, machining, plastic injection, plastic extrusion, coating, welding and puring foam. • Creating project budget and ensuring to keep the budget target of the projects. • Creating time schedule and ensuring compliance of the project team with the schedule. • After tool kick off process; managing the engineering change (AEWU & AKO) process. • Coordinating the whole project team for internal & external audits. Joining and leading the meetings directly with OEMs. • Calculating single part, raw material requirement according to purchase orders from the customer. • Purchasing the materials from internal & external suppliers, including being involved in pre-sourcing activities. • Coordinating the production and ensuring samples are produced according to customer specifications • Arranging the shipment to customer side with logistics teams. • Tracking the leadtimes for prototype/serial tooling and creating the purchase requests for each of them.
• Managing the projects as a leader by coordinating with the sales, development, cost analysis, quality, production and logistics departments • Managing the engineering change process • During the RFQ and ECR processes, calculating manpower, machine requirements and raw material utilization amount • Managing FMEA studies with related departments and implementing the solutions to the serial production • Ensuring preparation of control plans, production instructions according to customer specifications • Creating the products, raw materials and BOMs on the ERP system (SAP) according to technical documents supplied by the customer or development department • Organization of sample and pre-serial production • Calculating the needed machine, equipment, manpower considering the ramp-up plan and ensuring that the production is realized in accordance with the time schedule during the SOP process. • Initiating/contributing to the cost reduction and continuous improvement studies
