I am currently a fourth year student at CSULB, hoping to strengthen my writing skills, take various workshop classes, and explore the possibility of creating a blog. I have a strong passion for reading and writing, and learning new styles of writing. Through my workshop classes here at CSULB, I have augmented my writing skills within poetry and short stories, and plan to take a non-fiction short story and novel class in my final year at CSULB.
I am close to reaching my two-year manager mark at Tillys in October, and have worked retail for the past two and a half years, learning new skills everyday. I have been able to break out of my shell and become more extroverted and social with engaging and making conversation with customers, whether it be offering them help in any way I can or complimenting their style. I am trained and experienced with leading a team, receiving and separating shipment deliveries, creating schedules and adhering to my team's needs, as well as being a kind leader, with the utmost respect for my team and vice versa with their respect for me. I am also responsible for posting on our Tillys Store account, posting pictures and videos of style inspiration and events occurring in our area.
