Sociology, for me, is a way of understanding how people make sense of the worlds they live in- through identity, culture, relationships, and everyday experiences. Currently pursuing an MA in Sociology at Jamia Millia Islamia, my interests lie in cultural identity, kinship, gender, religion, and social theory. Through experiences across research, student leadership, and community engagement, I have become increasingly interested in the relationship between lived realities and broader social processes. I am particularly drawn to questions that ask not only how society functions, but how people experience, negotiate, and find meaning within it.
Completed a Research Internship on “Comparative Study of Ethnic Practices and Their Sustainability” under the guidance of Dr. Radhika R at Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science, Coimbatore, facilitated by Konnifel. Conducted comparative analysis of ethnic practices, examined their socio-cultural relevance and sustainability, and contributed to ongoing research initiatives through structured academic inquiry.
