I serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Business Execution & Risk Officer (CBERO) for Technology, Data & Operations at Truist, where I lead the execution engine that connects strategy, performance, governance, workforce, cost, and risk across a complex enterprise technology organization. My role combines direct leadership of the TD&O Execution Management & Performance Office (TEMPO) with enterprise-level oversight supporting approximately 23,000 teammates and contingent workers operating under a ~$4B annual technology budget. I am accountable for ensuring strategy translates into disciplined execution, governance is embedded into how work gets done, and first-line risk ownership is integrated into day-to-day decision-making. Across TD&O, my teams establish the operating model, governance routines, performance insights, portfolio discipline, workforce planning, policy governance, regulatory readiness, and business management capabilities that allow leaders to run at scale with clarity, consistency, and accountability. My focus is increasingly on how large enterprises evolve their operating models for a new era of technology — including AI-enabled ways of working, automation-led capacity creation, and more transparent, data-driven execution. At its core, my mandate is simple: Make strategy executable. Make performance visible. Make risk owned.
