About

As an occupational therapist specializing in neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed care—with credentials including OTR/L, CAS, ABC‑EC Parent Coach, and QMHP—I’m passionate about empowering individuals to reclaim independence and thrive through meaningful engagement. After six years in various settings including schools, inpatient physical and behavioral health rehab, and community mental health, I’ve recently channeled my clinical experience into a new challenge: partnering with clinicians, providers, and stroke/TBI survivors as a Clinical Sales Specialist at Motus Nova. At Motus Nova, we’re revolutionizing neuro‑rehab by closing the access gap for families who face barriers like travel, cost, or limited clinic hours. Our FDA Class 1 “active assist” robotic exoskeletons—the Motus Hand and Motus Foot—allow patients to access clinically proven, high-dose therapy directly at home. Grounded in constraint‑induced movement therapy and reinforced with motivational “theratainment” games, these devices deliver rehabilitation outcomes on par with in‑clinic therapy —validated by studies at Emory and the VA - without taking away the importance of in-person therapy services by supplementing as an advanced Home Exercise Program to support increased patient outcomes and therapy gains. In my role, I bridge the gap between evidence-based rehabilitation and real-world clinical application—I educate clinicians, ensure seamless integration into care plans, and advocate for patient-centered outcomes. Motivated by a personal commitment to neuro‑inclusive practice and backed by decades of research, I’m honored to help clinicians offer transformative care that meets survivors where they are: in their own homes. Let’s connect if you're interested in learning more about how Motus Nova is reshaping access to neuro‑rehabilitation—and how my clinical background can support your team's journey.
