She brings a rare combination of entrepreneurial experience, investment acumen, and board-level insight, developed over 15+ years in venture capital, family offices, and startup ecosystems. As a Partner at Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Allegra has played a pivotal role in scaling the fund’s European presence—tripling deal flow within the first year and leading investments across France, the UK, Spain, and Denmark. She holds board and observer positions in multiple portfolio companies and has contributed to thesis development and strategic alignment across BEV’s global initiatives, including Advocacy, Catalyst, and Fellows. Previously, at Telos Impact, she led the investment ramp-up of a climate-focused family fund, building its pipeline, investment frameworks, and team capabilities. She also served as a key advisor to the family, offering insight on term sheets, fundraising dynamics, and impact measurement. At SPDG, the D’Ieteren family office, Allegra supported the next-generation principal in strengthening ties with the family’s core industrial business and driving diversification efforts into venture capital. She defined and executed the VC strategy, built a transatlantic portfolio, and partnered closely with founders to accelerate growth and innovation in line with the family’s entrepreneurial values.
