My work on the 'Forecasting Agricultural output using Space, Agro meteorological and Land based observations' (FASAL) project has allowed me to translate statistical analyses into clear insights for stakeholders. I have done quantitative data analysis using tools like STATA and E Views, and skilled in conducting comprehensive literature reviews and authoring research papers. My experience also includes on-the-ground fieldwork, such as conducting surveys for the 'National Dairy development Project', and analyzing large datasets like census data to study demographic trends. My commitment to impactful research is demonstrated by my co-authored publications in reputable journals and books, focusing on food production and crop yield estimation. I hold a Master's in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, where I built a strong foundation in economic theory and research methodologies. I am passionate about applying rigorous analysis to real-world challenges and contributing to evidence-based policy discussions.
Presently working as a research analyst in the Project “Forecasting Agricultural output using Space, Agro meteorological and Land based observations (FASAL)” Helps in literature review, data filtration for final use, data analysis using Stata, Eviews and SPSS, helping the seniors in interpreting and writing results. Conducted field surveys in Tamil Nadu for the National Dairy Development Project. Collected primary data on dairy farmers' perceptions and interacted with district-level authorities.
