Responsible for the inclusion of participants and conduction of trial days in a study investigating the effect of GIP and alanine in healthy fasting men. During the first six months, I worked part-time on the project, after which I worked full-time in the department from February to June in connection with my thesis.
Student assistant on the “RUBIC” project (www.rubic.nu), where I conducted informational interviews and collected data from the patients who chose to participate. This involved everything from biological samples to anthropometric measurements, as well as performing DEXA scans.
Summer substitute in the gynecological team. My primary responsibility was ward rounds for patients admitted with gynecological cancers.
Contributed to the MyBrain project, which researched chemotherapy’s impact on brain function via EEG’s and cognitive tests (WISC and WAIS)
Temporary position due to lack of nurses in the department. The job consisted of various nursing tasks based on NIDCAP theory.
Simple consultations under the supervision of a doctor (yearly controls, blood sampling, vaccinating, ECG's etc) as well as administrative tasks.
Provided care for critically ill patients in Region Hovedstaden (the greater Copenhagen area).
