U Impact provides a B2B2C white-label tool for financial institutions, leveraging Generative AI, behavioural science, and data-driven insight to activate and engage the next generation of investors, with a strong focus on transparency in sustainable investing. We help banks, wealth managers, and investment platforms better understand and connect with end investors — particularly next-gen, female, and sustainability-focused segments — aligning investment decisions with personal values and long-term goals. Our proprietary methodology combines institutional-grade data, behavioural science, and AI-driven nudging techniques to identify and overcome engagement and conversion barriers across the investor journey. As Co-Founder & COO, I lead operational delivery and financial modelling, while contributing to strategy, business development, and client engagement — helping financial services firms translate data-led investor insight into higher engagement, stronger retention, and sustainable AUM growth.
Led Finance data delivery for Basel 3.1 as part of a global, multi-year regulatory change programme, working across Finance and Technology to deliver compliant, high-quality regulatory outputs. Defined and executed robust data testing and reconciliation frameworks for Finance data, overseeing data-quality issue management and remediation, and supporting the closure of regulatory findings. Played a key role in strengthening Finance data capabilities, embedding effective controls and building strong, workable relationships with multiple upstream data providers and senior stakeholders across the bank.
Project leadership and delivery as part of a global, multi-year Basel III finance reform programme, including requirement scoping, process set-up, and development of the implementation strategy. Oversaw the Finance Change annual budgeting process, coordinating inputs across teams and providing structured outputs to senior governance forums. Delivered training sessions to 150+ stakeholders, represented the programme in senior working groups, and engaged directly with global sponsors at Managing Director level.
Led the ServCo workstream within Barclays’ multi-year Brexit response programme, providing programme leadership to support the expansion of product coverage within the Irish entity. Oversaw and chaired a weekly global working group, coordinating multiple project managers delivering interdependent workstreams across systems, processes, and regulatory readiness. Worked closely with licence extension teams and regulators to align infrastructure and controls with Central Bank of Ireland requirements, contributing to the successful granting of the licence and a smooth post-Brexit business transition.
Supported the implementation of product governance frameworks aligned to MiFID II and internal control standards within the Barclays wholesale business. Worked with Product Owners and Control Leads to assess conduct, suitability, and product lifecycle risks, contributing to regulatory compliance and control oversight.
Worked on capital controls and analysis, contributing to the development of a capital monitoring metric for inclusion in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
