I have begun the planning for a programme designed to implement Windowns 10 and Office 2016 functionality across the enterprise on both desktop and thin client environments. This programme will include: Upgrade to the current Citrix and exchange environments, review of VPN technology, review of KMS and MBAM, new Windows 10 builds to support multiple hardware platforms, review of OneDrive for business and O365 functionality, design of a suitable servicing strategy to support business wide operating system updates and most importantly end user training and education. Busy times ahead!
Currently working on a project to implement Microsoft's Intune MDM solution to support both corporately owned and BYOD mobile devices.
I have recently managed an implementation of Microsoft's 2 fact authentication for Derby City Council and have successfully migrated in access of 1000 users to the new solution. Authentication methods include call, text, mobile app and OATH token options. Gateway functionality is provided by Citrix Netscalers that have been sized to cater for future expansion.
