Head of Applied AI @ Primer | ex Buy-Side Equity Analyst | 10y Public Equities | Building AI for investment workflows

About

Before Primer, I spent a decade in public equities with eight years on the sell side and two years on the buy side — so I know the analyst workflow firsthand: earnings cycles, model maintenance, note-writing, idea iteration, and the constant context-switching that eats the day. I started learning to code out of curiosity, then kept going because it was immediately useful: turning small workflow pain points into tools that saved real time. As language models improved, it became obvious we were at an inflection point in how research gets done. Now, as Head of Applied AI at Primer, I work at the intersection of domain and delivery. Translating investment workflows into production systems, and taking ideas from problem definition through to shipped tooling that people actually use.
