My passion is building professional capability, and I am lucky enough to be gainfully employed doing this with The Expertship Institute and Expertunity, working with highly skilled technical experts and advisors globally, and through HFL Leadership (building leadership skills). I am an experienced coach, facilitator, and enjoy speaking about Expertship. I am blessed to be working with a highly dedicated team (and fantastic cohort of external consultants and coaches) focused on helping our very many participants, and the client organisations they work for, reach their full potential. We have developed the highly successful FASTLEAD brand (which is currently the #1 provider of small group coaching leadership programs for front line leaders in Australia) and the breakthrough MASTERING EXPERTSHIP program which transforms technical experts into strategic, value-adding Master Experts (now delivered to participants in 16 countries). I authored the book Master Expert with colleague Dominic Johnson, a text book designed to help every expert reach their full potential. Through the Expertship Institute, we have recently started partnering with liked-minded organisations to deliver expertship programs worldwide. We hope to help thousands of technical subject matter experts transform their value-add, be more fulfilled in their role, and make the difference we and they know they can.
Expertunity is a new global enterprise dedicated to helping technical experts everywhere reach their full potential. Long over-looked for inclusion on enterprise skills programs, Expertunity provides frameworks, assessments, publications and development programs for both our own clients and organisations who wish to develop internal initiatives to help their technical experts shine. Working with over 1000 experts and 25 companies in the last two years in the Asia Pacific, Expertunity now is preparing to expand operations into North America and Europe.

Having sold Strategic Publishing Group to John Fairfax in January 2000, I spent 14 months running all of the Strategic Publications along with all of the business magazines for Fairfax - including Business Review Weekly, Shares Magazine, Personal Investor magazine, Asset magazine (launched), CFO magazine, MIS magazine, Business Online magazine, Strategic Research, and P4+ magazine. In June 2001 I completed by earn out, and left Fairfax to start my own boutique investment and mentoring business.
Boutique publishing company which launched business magazines and websites for senior management positions in large enterprises. MIS magazine, Information Age, CFO magazine were some of the titles. The business was sold to Fairfax Business Media in 2000.
